Research & reports
Research that becomes a deliverable
Analysis that stays inside a tool does not help anybody. NeuraCap ends where the work actually ends: a report you can find in the Research Hub, read slide by slide in the browser, question in plain language, and export to PDF or PPTX for the meeting it was built for.

The story
The last mile is the part that gets cut.
Research and reports
From assembled analysis to a document somebody reads
- The problem
- Getting from a finished analysis to a document that can be sent takes as long as the analysis itself. Slides get rebuilt by hand, numbers drift between the model and the deck, and last month's version is impossible to find when the client asks about it.
- Why it matters
- The deliverable is what the client, the committee or the board actually sees. If it is slow to produce, the analysis is done less often; if it is rebuilt by hand, the figures in it stop matching the work behind them.
- In NeuraCap
- Every evaluation is generated as a report. The Research Hub filters by sector, industry group, keyword and date range. The viewer opens it with an executive summary, key insights and slide navigation, and report Q&A answers questions over its contents.
- What you get
- A report that reads the same on screen and in the file: PDF for circulation, PPTX when it has to be edited into a wider pack, and a permanent, searchable record of every edition published before it.
- The decision it enables
- What to send, what to present, and what to say when somebody asks where a number on slide eleven came from.
Inside the report viewer
The same four elements in every report, free or commissioned.
- Executive summaryThe conclusion first. What the analysis found, in the length somebody reads before a meeting rather than after it.
- Key insightsThe handful of findings that carry the argument, each tied to the exhibit that supports it, so the report can be skimmed without being misread.
- Slide navigationMove through the report slide by slide in the browser. The layout matches the deck, so what you read on screen is what lands in the file you send on.
- Report Q&AAsk the report a question in plain language and get an answer drawn from its own contents, with the figures and sources attached.
Research Hub
Four ways to find the right report.
Sector
Start from the broad sector when you want the whole landscape, including the adjacent segments a narrow filter would hide.
Industry group
Narrow to the specific group a company competes in. This is the level most valuation arguments are actually made at.
Keyword
Search across the research for a theme, a company, a transaction or a phrase, rather than remembering which edition covered it.
Date range
Pull everything published in a window — the last fortnight before a client call, or a full year when you need the trend.
The public version of the Hub is the reports library, where the free industry research is published in full with the same filters. Industry groups are indexed on the sector coverage index.
Export
It leaves in the format the meeting needs.
For circulation and for the record. Page layout matches what you read on screen, so nothing moves between the viewer and the file.
PPTX
For the pack that has to be edited. Slides come out as slides, so the analysis can be dropped into a wider document without being rebuilt.
In the browser
Read and interrogate it without downloading anything. Free industry research is readable this way at the reports library.
Formats
Three published formats, one method behind them.
| Format | Cadence | Scope | Access |
|---|---|---|---|
| Company Valuation & Strategic Insights Report | Monthly for public companies, on demand for private | One company: intelligence, peers, KPI benchmarks, transactions, valuation range and the strategic options that follow. | A platform and advisory deliverable. |
| Industry Sector Outlook | Roughly quarterly, around 20 pages | One industry group: landscape, valuation spread, operating benchmarks, the transaction record and the themes running through it. | Free and ungated. |
| Bi-Weekly Industry Events & M&A Update | Every two weeks, around 7 pages | What was announced and bought in the window, at what multiples where terms were disclosed, and what moved in the spread. | Free and ungated. |
What goes into a company report is set out under company reports, and how the industry cadence works is described under sector coverage.
What is in a report
Every page carries its provenance.
- Sourced data, calculated metrics and AI-assisted interpretation are distinguished throughout.
- Figures are confirmed against two independent sources, with a 97.5% confirmation rate.
- Plausibility gates exclude implausible multiples, so they are never plotted in an exhibit.
- Commentary is calibrated as a reading of the evidence rather than asserted causation.
- Nothing in a report is a recommendation to buy or sell a security, an offer or solicitation, an appraisal, or a fairness opinion.
The full rules are on the methodology page, and what is covered is listed on the coverage and data page.
